The Leased Line solution provides your organisation with a dedicated, high-bandwidth guaranteed connectivity that will support active networks, web servers, large data and file transfers, and multimedia applications. A Leased Line gives you point-to-point circuit to connect your LAN directly to a fault-tolerant tier-1 network. A Leased Line is available in speeds from 64K right through to 155Mbps.

A private circuit will be installed that connects your site directly to our backbone, based in our secure facility at Global Switch. This provides superb high capacity, resilient Internet connectivity through our totally secure network that is covered by our industry leading service level guarantee. We operate hardware redundancy and have multiple high capacity links to all major backbones to ensure fast access times to key International networks. Although Leased lines are one of the most reliable types of data connectivity, for complete peace of mind Mistral now offers Protected Leased Lines with automated ADSL backup** as standard. Protected Leased Lines are designed to automatically and immediately restore the connection with minimum interruption to service. A 2Mbs 20:1 ADSL connection will assume all the same IP addresses as the leased line meaning the you do not have to change any settings or reconfigure servers.

Once connected there are no costly per minute charges as with other backup solutions and the connection will automatically revert back to the leased line once the circuit is restored.
